Doing what I want! 😝

It’s been a hard season and to be honest, I feel like a broken record and am tired of yapping on about it. A recent scare landed me in the ER for what I thought might be appendicitis — thankfully it was not. I’m fine and healing at home now, but the CT scan revealed something called an “omental infarct.” Basically, I have a 3.6cm compromised spot of tissue that has caused a loss of blood flow to the area surrounding my stomach and abdominal organs. While it is very uncommon, my body should be able to heal on its own... and so far, so good. Worst-case scenario, the pain worsens or continues for too long and I decide to have a laparoscopy procedure to remove it.

Anyway, all this to say, I missed sharing the bi-monthly Duende feature in June which made me sad, though I’m sure no one else really noticed (lol). I want to do something fun and reckless ($) and collage-y today and compile a pretty feast for the eyes. Because fuck it, why not?!
